World Record Tarpon in Florida and Big Stripers in the Atlantic
Big Fish Week Continues

When it comes to Big Fish...the Ocean is pretty hard to beat for large fish, populations of large fish and ones odds for catching a record fish!

I have actually fished where this Wold record Tarpon was taken. There are many world record tarpons taken but this one was taken on a fly rod in Homosassa Florida and on a 15lb tippet record nontheless!!

The Striper below was taken on the east coast and weighed a hefty 78+ lbs...wow is right and man do I dream of catching something like that on a fly rod one day. Talk about a belly and the food this thing eats.

I don't think much gains the respect and attention than Huge Steelhead and Monster King Salmon. Not sure if there is anything that compares to catching these on a fly rod for freshwater fish!
