Got out for a little fun the other day and didn't expect to have a whiteout, 30mph winds and as we call it....a white desert here in Summit County to fish in. Oh well that's Colorado in the Spring for ya.

We sucked it up and got into a few fish, very few crowds and quite a bit of time back and forth to the car to warm up.

Summit county presents some of the prettiest mountain ranges around, between some top rivers to fish, incredible skiing opportunities, it's where we spend many a weekends fishing throughout the year!
Glad we came back early, reports came in that between 4-8" fell on Sunday and I-70 near Copper Mountain had actually closed. I think I'll head back to warmwater and shorts for now and chase some Pike and Carp. With that 80' weather here in Denver lately, I need a break from the snow and wintertime.
