Yes why would someone leave Denver and head to the Hills when you can find big fish right in town. If you can brave the cold, take a day off of work during the week to escape the masses...Head to Washington Park Lake for some big fish and few crowds!
Why would you drive hours to fish Antero, Stagecoach, Delaney Buttes or Blue Mesa when Gold metal waters are right down the street. If you did drive to the Mtns your car could encounter certain hazards as well as fighting over Parking spots.
